Third Emotion - Running (Original Mix)
Hi folks. Been working on this for a while now and I am very happy with it. I would love to get some comments on this, to see what people think and of course, some constructive criticism where needed!
Third Emotion - Running (Original Mix) [Direct Download]
It is an unmastered sample, but i’ve spent the time on the levels to ensure it doesn’t sound muddy.
Any feedback would be massively appreciated. I’m really happy with this, but would feel even better being able to obtain some valuable feedback on it.
Thanks

Here’s one from the Moot Point collective - well at least a couple of us. Vital ingredients were an ounce of reason (about all we had between us), some nice juicy hardware and a leftover guitar with rather bad intonation (to give it those nasty detuned harmonics). The thing is we’re not sure where to take it or how to end it….. so I thought someone might have some ideas or suggestions. Please?!!! I need to get it finished so I can sort the guitar out cos it sounds like Hendrix set fire to it and put it out with a bucket of Roadies’ urine.

Just a wee blog with the instrumentals im working or have been working on!

135bpm trance number i’m currently writing with some friends. Trying to marry uplifting but melancholy trance with balearic guitars and a touch of electric goodness (thanks to bowelman!). It’s missing assorted sweepy swirly bits and pieces and the percussion needs changing from a rough framework to something better matched but it’s mostly there now, maybe….
quick update, reverbed the perc to soften them, added a new hi end synth to add a bit mroe depth to some sections and some cymbal crashes, but im not really sure about the sound of those yet… back to the drawing baord.

It’s pretty rough at the moment. Usual haphazard style, bit cheezy trance, holden delay, and old house acidic sounds. Quite strange this one.
