Freefall - Let the Music Play / Bob Sinclair Wonderful World
It’s pretty rough at the moment. Usual haphazard style, bit cheezy trance, holden delay, and old house acidic sounds. Quite strange this one.

Hi,
The man behind Foxbreaks has asked me to upload some downtempo and lounge compilations that I’ve been working on since 2002. My style is an ecletic mix of electronica and 60’s soundtrack lounge, although I’ll post up some ambient drum and base from ‘96 as well. These compliations are perfect for the comedown and also great for driving, due to their expansive soundscapes.
Some of the tracks are a bit old now (we are talking eclectic here) but they’ve stood the test of time and still sound fresh today. Although this is the first time they’ve been aired on the web, they have been thoroughly road tested via my social network. So they’re up here to share, thats all.
First up is Cubensis Mexicana from 2003. It was around this time that I was cultivating a certain type of mexican fungi (hence the name) and this compilation was designed as an electronica aid to their indesgtion. A good build up leads to an interesting climax.

No commentsA brief update
Well my harddisk accelerated to something only Steven Hawkins could measure and then went KAPOW! Along with my ableton, vsts…..whine. Thankfully my samples are tucked away somewhere safe. So in short I am rebuilding my ableton setup and should be back soon badder than ever.
While I’ve been in mourning I’ve been doing some thinking about the site and things to improve it. If you have some ideas please feel free to let me know using the contact form or replying to this post. Been considering creating a label, we shall see, no idea is too stupid right now.
Here is the last thing I was working on:

Stressed out, anxious, had a tough day at the office, and you can’t read a note of music? I know the feeling. Hey, don’t give up, there really is a solution to your woes - honest. Take a break from hip-hop and complicated rhythms or sounds, and just run your fingers over any instrument you can lay your hands on - or simply tap out something on a drum - or even a tin can - and go back to it and play some more every time you feel stressed. Not only will you get better at creating music - you’ll soon forget what drove you to it! UNLESS ITS EATING YOUR ARMS!!! I kid you not, this dog is certifiable. How something as relaxed and chilled as the music you’ll find played by JFoxWilliams can come out of this I’ll never know.

A Mashup I made a long time ago based upon a 2 second outtake from the famous FSOL 1995 Kiss Recording where they fused the seminal Chemical Beats by the Chemical Brothers with the Beatles classic: Tomorrow Never Knows.

Well, I started out with the idea of working on my drum programming and making a sorta fastish minimal techno type tune with a big dirty, all encompassing lead…
I’ve ended up making trance again!!
I’ve spent some more time on it now… stretched the sections out so it’s more of a tune (so far).. not happy with the perc at the start esp.. if anyone has any suggestions how i can sort them out and sound like a proper perc tune intro please say =o)
Also.. ignore the really bad drop into the choral section, i haven’t figured out how i’m going to make that transition section work yet.. again, suggestions?
otehr than that, usual bollocks, any comments suggestions… please feel free to bitch
Back to the progressive - Nobby One Over
New for 2008…its time to bring some love back to progressive. More than a hint of ambient starts this mini voyage before introducing your ears to a big bassline building into a classic sounding tune that just rolls off the speakers mmmm…
